On June 12, 2022, Daevon Dae Dae Eggleston, a 24-year-old man from Pittsburgh, PA, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in the Manchester neighborhood. Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots at around 9:01 p.m. in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Eggleston unconscious in the 1300 block of Warlo Street, where he was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man who was also shot was later found at a local hospital in critical condition.
