Shannon Clanton

In the Logan section of Philadelphia, a neighborhood grappling with its share of violence, the life of 18-year-old Shannon Clanton was cut short on the night of October 26, 2010. A single gunshot to the back ended the young man's life, leaving a community in shock and a family to mourn an irreversible loss. The shooting occurred at approximately 9:14 p.m. on the 1200 block of West Rockland Street, a location that would become the final scene of Clanton's life.
