On May 10, 2025, 12-year-old African American boy Ethan Parker was fatally shot in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. at a residence on the 1500 block of East Pastorius Street. Ethan was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
