In the early evening of Wednesday, May 29, 2024, chaos erupted on the 2600 block of Jackson Street in the Grays Ferry section of South Philadelphia. At approximately 5:38 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered 50-year-old Hamilton Wyche lying in the street, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
