Khalil Jackson, a 22-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was killed on the night of August 30, 2011, in Southwest Philadelphia. Police were called to the area of Buist Avenue and Bonaffon Street shortly before 10 p.m. after reports of a person with a gun. When officers arrived, they found Jackson, who lived on the 2600 block of South Massey Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
