Dwayne Threet, a 36-year-old resident of Pittsburgh's Uptown neighborhood, was shot and killed on September 27, 2011. The incident took place around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Chauncey Drive and Wylie Avenue in the Hill District. Threet suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the back and was rushed to UPMC Mercy, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
