Charles Haines, age 43, was shot and killed on October 21, 2011, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident took place on the 6300 block of Homer Street in the East Germantown section of the city. At approximately 8:10 p.m., Philadelphia police responded to reports of a gun in the area. Upon arrival, they found Charles lying in a driveway with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:19 p.m.
