On a Tuesday morning in Philadelphia, the life of 22-year-old Maurice McDonald was brought to a sudden and violent end. The young man was inside the J&R Perez Grocery in the Mantua neighborhood on November 10, 2015, when a gunman entered the store. Maurice, a male, was reportedly looking at his cell phone near the entrance when the assailant drew a 10mm Glock pistol and fired multiple shots at him.
