In the early hours of a Sunday morning in May 2012, the life of 20-year-old Donte Hawkins was tragically cut short. A college student at Clarion University and a graduate of Penn Hill High School, Hawkins was found lying in the street outside the Trappers Club in Pittsburgh's Larimer neighborhood around 3 a.m. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead at the scene.
