Marquise Mebane, a 19-year-old, was shot and killed in Philadelphia on November 30, 2013. The incident occurred in the Cobbs Creek area on the 6100 block of Walton Avenue just after 12:30 a.m. Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Mebane with two gunshot wounds to the chest. Despite rapid response from emergency personnel, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
