On March 24, 2022, Sean Toomey, a 15-year-old boy from Philadelphia, PA, was tragically shot in the head while carrying water from his car to his home on the 6200 block of Mulberry Street in Northeast Philadelphia. Sean was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital in extremely critical condition and was later declared brain dead. Despite his family's decision to donate his organs, Sean passed away the following day.
