Tymere Pryor, a 17-year-old from Pittsburgh, was shot and killed on March 29, 2014. The incident occurred in the Hill District, a neighborhood known for struggling with high levels of violence. Pryor was discovered by passersby around 9:30 p.m. on a set of city steps near Webster Avenue and Orion Street.
