Stephon Burnside, a 29-year-old resident of Philadelphia, was shot and killed on June 12, 2014. The incident took place on the 5600 block of Beaumont Street, where Philadelphia Police officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 6:59 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Burnside lying in the street with a gunshot wound.
