In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Philadelphia, the course of Rashan Enty's life was tragically cut short. On May 20, 2015, on the 4200 block of West Girard Avenue, the 29-year-old Black male was shot multiple times. Philadelphia Police officers responded to the scene at 11:49 p.m. to find Rashan lying in the street with critical injuries.
He was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where medical personnel fought to save his life. Despite their efforts, Rashan succumbed to his wounds and died the following morning. At the time of his death, Rashan was a resident of the 1800 block of North 54th Street.
The investigation into Rashan Enty's death is ongoing, and as of now, the case remains an unsolved murder. Law enforcement officials have not publicly identified any suspects or made any arrests in connection with the shooting. The Philadelphia Police Department continues to appeal to the public for any information that could lead to a breakthrough in the case and bring justice for Rashan and his family.
