Royston Webb, a 28-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, was killed on May 23, 2015, in the city’s 35th Police District. The afternoon began with a call for help at an apartment on the 5600 block of Ogontz Avenue. At about 12:45 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers arrived and found Webb inside the apartment, unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. He had been shot twice, with one police listing describing the wounds as being to the back of his head. Medical personnel responded, but the ...
