Joseph Kimbrough, a 24-year-old man from Philadelphia, was fatally shot on July 8, 2015. The incident occurred at around 8:20 p.m. on the 2900 block of Cambria Street. Philadelphia Police Officers responded to the scene and found Kimbrough suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. Officers placed him in a patrol vehicle and transported him to Temple University Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
