In the late summer evening of Wednesday, August 26, 2015, the life of a young Philadelphia man was tragically cut short. At approximately 9:22 p.m., the sounds of gunfire pierced the night on the 1600 block of Rowan Walkway. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered 21-year-old Derrick Young suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
