On the evening of Tuesday, March 8, 2016, a burst of violence on a Philadelphia street cut short the life of a young man. Trevor Bouknight, a 22-year-old Black male, was on the 1400 block of North Vodges Street when he was struck by multiple gunshots. The incident occurred at approximately 8:18 p.m., a time when the city was experiencing a particularly violent night.
