On the night of July 2, 2016, Jose Gonzalez, a 24-year-old Hispanic male, was shot multiple times in the back while on the 3500 block of North Marshall Street in Philadelphia. Police officers responded to the scene at approximately 10:22 p.m. and rushed Gonzalez to Temple University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
