In the autumn of 2016, the life of 29-year-old Andrew Berry Jr., a Black male from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was tragically cut short. A father of four, with his youngest child born just days after his disappearance, Berry was last seen on November 6, 2016, in the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia. His family grew increasingly concerned as days turned into weeks with no word from him.

At approximately 11:06 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to a call and discovered Berry's body in a wooded area near the 11000 block of Waldemire Drive, by an embankment leading to Byberry Creek.
