In the summer of 1998, a quiet Tulsa neighborhood was shaken by a violent act that would leave a family grieving and a community on edge. On August 12th, eighty-one-year-old William Carroll, a male resident of 1619 N. Boston, answered a knock at his door, an everyday act that tragically led to his untimely death. In a brutal and senseless attack, he was stabbed twice in the chest by an unknown assailant.
