Do you know who murdered Judith? In the early morning hours of September 17, 2006, Judith Ruth Wolfe, a 66-year-old woman, was seated in her vehicle at 2100 S. 101st E. Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma. At approximately 2:30 a.m., her solitude was shattered when an unknown man opened her driver's side door and began a brutal assault. The attacker then forced her into the passenger side of the car and continued the vicious attack.
Sometime after the assault, Wolfe was able to exit her vehicle.
A passerby discovered her lying in the street and promptly called 911. Emergency services arrived and transported her to a local hospital for treatment of her serious injuries. While at the hospital, she was able to provide a brief account of the attack to the police before she tragically succumbed to her injuries.
Despite her description of the event, the suspect has never been identified, and no arrests have been made in the case. The murder of Judith Wolfe remains an unsolved cold case, and the Tulsa Police Department continues to seek information from the public that might lead to a breakthrough in the investigation.
