On May 16, 2011, Cornelius Montroll Ogles, a 19-year-old from Oklahoma City, was found shot to death in a car alongside another victim, 18-year-old Luke Thomas Asberry. The vehicle was located near North Bryant Avenue and NE 15th Street around 11:40 PM. Both men had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The deaths were quickly ruled as homicides by investigators, but the case remained unsolved for some time, leaving families devastated.
