On December 15, 2012, Bipinchandra Patel, a 61-year-old motel owner, was tragically found shot to death inside the front office of the Oxford Inn in Oklahoma City. Police were called to the scene after receiving a welfare check request, where they discovered Patel's body. His family confirmed that he had been shot, but no immediate suspects were identified.
