Jeremy Keith, a 19-year-old male from Lexington, Mississippi, was fatally shot on February 1, 2025. The incident occurred on Highway 17, just south of Lexington. Holmes County Sheriff Willie March reported that Keith was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle, but he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have identified a person of interest in the case, though no charges have been filed at this time. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
