In the spring of 2013, a life was tragically cut short in Oklahoma City. Marquise Callender, a 22-year-old male, was fatally shot on the morning of Wednesday, April 24th. The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. at the Will Rogers Court Complex, a housing community located in the southwest part of the city. When police officers arrived at the scene in the 1700 block of Pettee Avenue, near Southwest 15th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, they discovered Callender had succumbed to his injuries.
