On April 9, 2017, Reginald Morrisey, age 48, died in a tragic incident at Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Morrisey, who was recovering from a stroke suffered in February, was killed when Jimmy McCoy III, a burglary suspect, attempted an escape while being treated at the hospital. McCoy managed to flee from his police escort and entered Morrisey's hospital room, where he allegedly jumped on Morrisey's bed in an attempt to escape through the ceiling.
