In the quiet, early morning hours of a Sunday in Oklahoma City, the life of 34-year-old Nelson Edgar Layva was tragically cut short. Responding to reports of a shooting in the 1700 block of Northwest 37th Street, police officers arrived to a grim scene. There, they discovered Mr. Layva, a male, who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
