Olando Smith, a 21-year-old resident of Oklahoma City, was shot and killed on October 14, 2012, in a homicide that took place near the Putnam Green Apartments in northwest Oklahoma City. The shooting occurred near Wilshire Boulevard and Northwest Expressway, and Smith was pronounced dead at the scene. According to accounts from his family, Olando had expressed concerns about his safety, telling his sister he felt something bad was going to happen to him prior to his death.
