On February 17, 1993, Tewolde Woldu, a 32-year-old cab driver originally from Ethiopia, was found dead in Columbus, Ohio. Woldu had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head and face. The incident occurred south of 940 Caldwell Place in Columbus, in Franklin County. Despite the investigation carried out by the Columbus Police Department, the case remains unsolved, and the motive behind the shooting has not been clarified.
