Lemondo Simmons, a 46-year-old African American man, was tragically killed on May 31, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. Simmons, a father of four, was fatally shot after leaving a check cashing location early in the morning. He had gone to the location to withdraw money sent by his girlfriend to pay a rental car bill.
