Efrem Blackwell Jr., a 22-year-old African American male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on April 22, 2022. He was found with a gunshot wound at the 1700 block of Rainbow Park on the city's east side, just after midnight. Despite the efforts of Columbus Fire Medic 14, he was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:39 a.m. This incident marked the 32nd homicide in Columbus for the year 2022.
