Brandon Lamont Brown Sr., a 35-year-old African American man from Columbus, OH, tragically lost his life on June 27, 2015. He was fatally shot in the first block of North James Road, just north of East Broad Street, on the East Side of Columbus. Brown was found wounded and lying on the ground, having been shot multiple times. He was quickly transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries just before 11 p.m.
