On February 24, 1997, Richard Willis, a 34-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was found dead from a gunshot wound in front of 730 North Nelson Road, apartment #C. The incident occurred in Franklin County, and the case remains unsolved. Willis's body was discovered outside the apartment building, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the shooting.
