On November 2, 1998, Ecolia Washington, aged 39, was found dead in her home at 2148 Avalon Place in Columbus, Ohio. Washington had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and suffered burns. The details surrounding her death point to a brutal attack, and the case has been classified as an unsolved homicide. The Columbus Police Department took the lead on the investigation, but as of now, no suspects have been identified, and no arrests have been made.
