On November 24, 2000, 71-year-old Martin Tackett was fatally shot in his home located on Huxley Drive in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred in Franklin County, and the case remains unsolved to this day. Martin Tackett was found with a gunshot wound, and there have been no public disclosures of potential suspects or motives in the crime. The Columbus Police Department took charge of the investigation, and despite ongoing efforts, no breakthroughs have been reported.
