Tanknai Houpe, a 19-year-old Black male from Columbus, OH, tragically died on October 20, 2021, from gunshot wounds to the back and chest area. He was walking with a witness near Cleveland Avenue and East 21st Avenue when an unknown group inside a black four-door sedan opened fire on them. Despite being rushed to a local hospital in critical condition, Tanknai succumbed to his injuries later that day.
