On January 19, 1997, 32-year-old Randall Vance was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the heart outside 829 E. Mithoff Street in Columbus, Ohio. The Columbus Police Department responded to the scene, but Vance was already deceased when they arrived. Despite initial investigations, no suspects were identified, and the case has since remained unsolved.
