John Roby, a 40-year-old African American man from Columbus, Ohio, tragically died on November 15, 2020. He was found shot around 3 a.m. on the 800 block of Wedgewood Drive on the city's West Side. Roby was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The circumstances surrounding his death were deemed suspicious by the Columbus Police Department, prompting an investigation by homicide detectives.
