Benjamin Isaac Blackwell Jr., an 18-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on September 17, 2017, in Columbus, OH. He was found in front of 2329 West Broad Street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to Mt. Carmel West Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
