Willie Mae McCloud, a 56-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was found dead in her apartment on May 22, 2005, in what remains an unsolved homicide. Willie Mae lived at 4996 Chatterton Road in Franklin County and was known for her outgoing and friendly personality. Despite her struggles with mental health and substance abuse, she was a familiar figure in her neighborhood, often seen near a local gas station or dollar store, panhandling to make ends meet.
