On December 3, 1993, Nanette Miller, aged 31, was found dead in her apartment located on Rand Avenue in Columbus, Ohio. Miller was discovered by her sister, who had not heard from her for several days and became concerned. Upon visiting Miller's apartment, she found Nanette had been strangled to death. Authorities determined that she had likely died a few days before her body was found.
