Portia Mitchell, a 30-year-old woman from Columbus, Ohio, was found dead on December 3, 1990. Her remains were discovered in a field located southwest of 3737 E. Main St. in Columbus, and the cause of death has not been conclusively determined. This mysterious death has remained unsolved, with little progress reported over the years despite efforts from the Columbus Police Department and other law enforcement agencies to solicit information from the public that could help solve the case.
