Gail Knisley, a 62-year-old woman from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost her life on November 25, 2003. She was killed by a bullet while being driven on Interstate 270 by her friend Mary Cox. The bullet entered the driver's side door, narrowly missing Cox, before striking Knisley in the chest and severing her aorta. Despite immediate medical attention, Knisley bled out and passed away.
