On June 5, 2023, at approximately 12:45 p.m., 20-year-old Kennedy Aurie-Dea Cowans was found with a gunshot wound at an apartment complex on Colony Lake Court in southeast Columbus, Ohio. She was transported to Mount Carmel East Hospital, where she was pronounced dead around 3 p.m.
