Sorenta Hylton, a 31-year-old woman, tragically lost her life on April 25, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio. She was asleep in her bed at her Southwest Side apartment on Vida Court when multiple rounds were fired into her residence. One of the bullets tore through a wall and struck Hylton in the shoulder and lung, leading to her death about an hour later. Hylton's three children, all under the age of 13, were also in the apartment at the time but fortunately were not injured.
