Carnel Al-Sherod Overby, a 20-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was shot and killed on January 22, 2013. On that evening, patrol officers were dispatched to an address on Highview Landing after receiving an "unknown trouble call." Before they could arrive, the call was updated to a shooting. When the officers reached the scene, they found Overby inside the residence with gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was transported by paramedics to Grant Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:24 ...
