On December 10, 2021, Fentahun G. Mengistu, a 38-year-old Black man from Columbus, OH, was tragically killed in a shooting incident. The incident occurred in the 300 block of East 12th Avenue, where Columbus Police were dispatched to a report of a shooting at around 10:40 PM.
