Deron M. Long, a 25-year-old male, tragically lost his life on April 5, 2017, in Columbus, OH. He was one of two victims shot at a residence on North Roosevelt Avenue. Long was pronounced dead at the scene around 9:31 p.m., approximately 20 minutes after the shooting occurred. The incident was part of a broader pattern of violence in the area, which had seen multiple shootings over a short period.
