On July 12, 2016, Jaime Martinez, 39, was discovered dead in Columbus, Ohio. Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Pinetree Street North around 6:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a male lying behind a dumpster in a pool of blood. Martinez had suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
